Meet Cyndee Jacobson, our trauma healing specialist and integrative health practitioner. She is a qualified critical care nurse with certifications in psychedelic assisted therapy, breathwork, somatic release, and plant-based medicine facilitation. Cyndee draws on her personal journey of overcoming multiple incurable diseases, chronic pain, profound loss, and long-term trauma to offer an empathetic and multi-faceted approach to trauma healing, empowering individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.

Cyndee has extensively studied natural modalities and cultural traditions across Central and South America, Indonesia, and the US. Her methodology is science-based, nuanced, and reverent as she merges modern trauma science, spiritual healing practices, and plant-based medicine to support optimal function and tap into the body’s innate intelligence.

Cyndee has faced and overcome numerous challenges throughout her life, including being separated from her parents and siblings at an impressionable age and placed into separate foster homes, leaving a lasting impact on her life. In addition, Cyndee has also experienced profound losses including the loss of her four-month-old child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),the tragic death of her husband just a few years after their loss, and the sudden passing of both of her parents when they were only 68 years old. Additionally Cyndee has confronted her own health challenges, fighting against several incurable diseases and chronic pain, bravely facing mortality and surviving to share her story.

In addition to her personal experiences, Cyndee has also helped her daughter navigate suicide ideation and attempts from a young age of 9 years old. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and the importance of compassionate support for those struggling with mental health challenges.

Through her work at Finding the Fire, Cyndee offers a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their own physical, mental, and emotional health challenges. Her approach to trauma healing is science-based, nuanced, and compassionate, and is rooted in her own personal journey of overcoming adversity and finding resilience in the face of challenge. Cyndee’s passion for natural modalities and integrative health fuels her belief that given the right tools and support, anyone can find the strength to overcome even the most challenging of circumstances and unlock their full potential.
